Our second outing of the season. A sharp frost overnight and very foggy start, (Helps to know your way to Foremark!) Cool temperatures pushed the fish down and most fish were caught on either intermediate or faster sinking lines, using Black and Green Lures or a variety of small Boobies, Olive, Orange or Black & Green. Most had their limit.
John M & Paul L caught in Flamingo and Gorse Bays and the Cascade, Rosemary drifting in Carvers Arm, Keith and Denis stayed in Flaming Bay. Keith (Mr Consistent!) had bagged up by 10.30am, however sadly for him not the best bag weight, he went on to release several more including a 4lb fish. Rosemary lost a decent overwintered fish.
Congratulations must go to our new member and newcomer to the fishing scene, Denis Rice catching his first ever two trout, they go into the category of quite the prettiest fish according to him! I trust they taste as good as they look.
